Some climbed through the snows to Tibet (when it was forbidden for any outsiders to do so) and some went slogging through muddy swamps in long, woolen skirts with cannibals, and we hear too little about them. I've gathered a good collection of books about many of these fantastic women, and will be using this site to tell you what I know, and what I'm learning.
